I first met Christina & Chris back in 2018, who had originally booked me for their 2020 wedding at Easthampstead Park. This wedding was unfortunately postponed to the summer of 2021 as a result of the Covid pandemic. Travel restrictions in 2021 meant that these guys had to postpone their wedding until the summer of 2022 as they had close family coming from abroad, who would not have been able to make it. So there we are. I finally photographed their wedding 4 whole years after originally meeting this amazing couple.
The wedding was at Easthampstead Park, which is an absolutely stunning Victorian Mansion House Hotel set in the gorgeous Berkshire countryside just an hour outside London and surrounded by 80 acres of woodland, parkland and formal gardens and is absolutely the perfect location for a wedding.
Before the ceremony, I spent some time with a very relaxed Christina and her bridal party in one of the amazing suites that Easthampstead Park has to offer, where the excitement was very clear to be seen amongst everyone in the room. Christina was absolutely glowing all morning. We did some getting ready photographs, before it was time for Christina to get into the most amazing dress. A few bridal portraits later and we were all ready to head downstairs for the outside ceremony. The weather couldn't have been better for them.
After the ceremony we did some group photographs, followed by some gorgeous photographs of the pair of them in the sumptuous gardens available at Easthampstead Park. Once we had finished our couples portraits, they were just about ready to sit down for their wedding breakfast and I have to say that the food at Easthampstead Park is amazing. Speeches were to follow and after that, it was party time. I was with Christina and Chris, right up until their first dance and even managed to capture an unexpected confetti cannon, which rip roared through the dance floor.
I hope you enjoy looking at these wedding photographs as much as I enjoyed creating them. And I know Christina and Chris will have a long and happy marriage.
