Hello and many congratulations on your engagement. I'm James, a full time, professional photographer based in Bracknell, Berkshire and I specialise in wedding, engagement and family photography. I cover the Home Counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent and Sussex, but can cover other UK and destination weddings across Europe.
Approach to your Wedding Day
I CAPTURE NATURAL, RELAXED, GENUINE MOMENTS, WHILST BEING DISCREET AND UNOBTRUSIVE
Wedding photography is about visually telling the story of your wedding day and my approach as a wedding photographer is simple. Throughout your day, I'll be discreet and unobtrusive, capturing natural, relaxed and genuine moments. Most importantly, I won't make you say 'Cheese'.
Composition, light and real moments are the main ingredients I use to create dramatic and stunning images. I won't pose you, I'll guide you, by using your own chemistry with each other. The results are natural looking images, totally unique to you and your wedding day.
About James
I find the best photos happen in those natural moments between poses, when you're just being yourself and have forgotten about the camera.
I live in Bracknell, Berkshire with my wife and 3 children and I absolutely love being a wedding photographer. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working with some amazing couples and have often been referred to as "part of the family" at the end of the wedding day. This is how I approach my relationships with my couples and their family and friends, so you can count on me to be approachable and friendly throughout the day. My family and friends would describe me as a people person. Someone who is fun and enjoyable to be around, with bundles of energy.

2020 was an amazing year for me, despite the challenges thrown at the wedding industry during the pandemic. I was a shortlisted finalist for 3 awards with Hitched, Lux Life and the European Enterprise Awards and came away victorious in 2.
Lux Life Magazine awarded me with "Most Creative Wedding Photographer" (Home Counties) at the Global Wedding Awards and at the European Enterprise Awards, I was awarded "Best Wedding Photographer South East England".
In 2021, Lux Life awarded me with another award of "Most Trusted Wedding Photographer (Berkshire) at their Global Excellence Awards, for my dedication and commitment in helping my couples during the pandemic and in 2023, I was awarded "Wedding Photographer of the Year" at the Innovation and Excellence Awards.
My wedding photography journey has been incredible and I really do appreciate how lucky I am to be doing something I love.
