Wedding at De Vere Wokefield Estate

Faye & Craig got married in February 2022 at the stunning De Vere Wokefield Estate. Wokefield Estate is a picturesque, elegant Victorian mansion house, situated in the Reading countryside offering picturesque gardens, a stunning lake and a sweeping driveway, which is the perfect venue for your wedding.

For larger weddings up to 300, the Terrace Suite in the Mansion House is ideal for a grand celebration along with direct access onto a private terrace overlooking the lake - perfect for photo opportunities. For more intimate weddings, the Palmer Suite and Old Lounge are popular choices with couples, with their feature ceilings, chandeliers and stunning views across the lake lawn. In the summer, a marquee on the manicured lawns with lake views makes a wonderful space for a celebration.

I arrived for bridal prep in the morning to an extremely relaxed Faye, who was in the process of having her hair and makeup done. I started the day in usual fashion, by capturing some detail shots. Faye was ready with loads of time to spare, so we had plenty of time to capture some gorgeous bridal portraits, before heading down for the ceremony.

After the ceremony, we moved onto the group shots before taking some time out together for our couples shots. After the wedding breakfast, we decided to go out for some more couples shots. You can pretty much photograph anywhere at Wokefield Estate and it just looks stunning. I think Faye and Craig loved taking the time out, so that we can get some gorgeous intimate moments between them, before heading back in to cut the cake and head straight into the first dance.

The venue, couple and wedding were amazing. If you’re looking for a beautiful mansion house wedding venue, then Wokefield Estate could just be the right venue for you. Check out some of Faye & Craig's wedding photos below and if you’d like to me photograph your wedding, get in touch, I’d love to hear from you!

Huge congratulations to these guys and their gorgeous family. I'd like to wish them all the best for a very bright future ahead.
